Vash is awesome. For several reasons. Not the least of which is designing Ylla's wings. Which rock, don't you think? But one of the main reasons why I think that Vash rocks on a continuous basis is because Vash is a vector artist without a tablet. Yup. All that awesome art and no Wacom. It's people like Vashy that inspire the rest of us to draw and make art, even when we're short a graphics tablet or a scanner, or even the right brushes. So go check out the entire gallery. And fave all of it while you're at it. And quit complaining about not having some tool you need... and make art anyway! ^^

Christy Smith Hayden drew this picture of Ylla. I absolutely LOVE her art, and I've always admired her as an artist and as a person. This picture actually marks the first drawn birthday present that I've gotten on the internet in about... five-six years. So you can imagine how thrilled and touched I was! She even said nice things about me in the caption. ^^

Do you recognize this picture? It's a 3D rendering of my piece Sleep!! Can you believe that? I can't. ^^ For someone to like one of my pieces enough to reproduce it as a 3D piece... that's just... wow. ^^ 3D is completely beyond me, btw, so I'm even more in awe of this. Isn't it beautiful? The second thumb is a different view of the same scene.
